OLIVIA

Living in the Gold Coast Hinterland and attending an environmentally focused school for most of my schooling years, means I have always been immersed in nature.

I’m an artist whose passion is to capture and immortalise significant and meaningful experiences as well as communicate messages through film.  Dabbling in all sides of the creative spectrum, at the age of 10, I illustrated two children’s books and have since gone on to help illustrate two more novels.  I have completed a Certificate 3 in Screen Media, which has greatly helped me further develop my skills in digital storytelling.

With a Certificate 3 in Active Volunteering, I have a strong sense of community service and have aided Wild Mob with their Norfolk Island Restoration and Conservation Project, Cumberland Islands projects and supporting conservation work in the Hauraki Gulf of New Zealand.  I have been inspired to capture these experiences on film, documenting journeys and explorations through the lens of youth!  I have used these short films to champion the wonderful work Wild Mob is doing in protecting critically endangered ecosystems.

I have completed my Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award and enjoy finding new ways to further extend myself to make a positive difference. In a world of infinite possibilities, with creativity as a key attribute, I strive to communicate my love of people, places and natural spaces.
