1. BOOKING CONTRACT

All national direct bookings are made with Wild Mob (ABN 41 973 239 045). All international bookings for Norfolk Island are made with the Norfolk Island Travel Centre (ABN 30 714 493 146). By booking a trip with Wild Mob you are deemed to have agreed to these conditions (constituting the entire agreement between yourself and Wild Mob) and your booking is accepted on this basis.

  1. DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT

You are required to make a $100 deposit per person per trip for your booking to be confirmed. If your initial booking is made within 60 days of the project beginning you are required to pay the full amount within 7 days of your booking.

  1. FINAL PAYMENTS

Upon acceptance of your booking you will be issued a confirmation email and invoice. Please refer to your invoice for details and due dates regarding your final payments. The final balance payment is due 60 days before the project start date. If your initial booking is made within 60 days of the project beginning you are required to pay the full amount within 7 days of your booking.

  1. REGISTRATION

In order for us to confirm your booking you must provide all the requested details. Upon receipt of your booking and deposit payment you will also receive access to the Wild Mob Online Booking Registration Form. This form is to be completed as part of the booking process and booking confirmation and confirmation is not provided without these details.

  1. CANCELLATION BY PARTICIPANT

A cancellation will only be accepted and effective when Wild Mob has received written confirmation of your cancellation. If you cancel a trip:

  • 60 days or more prior to the project start date, we will retain the initial deposit only
  • Between 59 and 29 days prior to the project start date, we will retain the deposits or 50% of the total booking cost; whichever is greater
  • 30 days or less prior to the project start date, we will retain 100% paid by you

We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover any losses you may incur should you be unable to attend your trip due to unforeseen circumstances.

  1. CANCELLATION BY WILD MOB

Although it is extremely rare for us to do so, Wild Mob may cancel a trip at any time prior to the project start date due to natural disasters or external events, which we cannot control. If we cancel your trip, you can transfer your booking and payments to another project or alternatively receive a full refund. In circumstances where a project is concluded early due to external events outside of Wild Mob’s control, refunds will be less any unrecoverable costs. Wild Mob is not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking and it is highly recommended for all bookings, particularly when booking your own flights and accommodation, that you obtain travel insurance.

  1. BOOKING AMENDMENTS

If you wish to change your booking and transfer to another project prior to 60 days before you original booking project start date:

  • 100% transfer of your initial payments will be made to the new project. If your initial payment is greater than the cost of the new project, then you will be refunded the difference
  • Between 59 days and the start of the initial project the initial deposit will be retained and the remaining balance will be applied to the new project booking. If the transferred funds are greater than the cost of the new project then you will be refunded the difference

  1. AGE & HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

Wild Mob projects have an upper age limit of 80 years of age. Some projects can be physically demanding and participants must ensure they are suitably fit for participation and for their own health and safety.

Wild Mob project leaders are able to provide details on the project requirements.

  1. TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is highly recommended for participants in all Wild Mob projects obtain travel insurance. For those participating in Norfolk Island projects Travel Insurance is compulsory for all participants. Your travel insurance must provide cover against personal accidental, death, medical expenses and emergency repatriation. We also strongly recommend it covers cancellation, curtailment, personal liability and loss of luggage and personal effects. You must provide proof of your travel insurance to the Norfolk Island Travel Centre. The Travel Centre is also able to assist you in obtaining insurance.

  1. ACCEPTANCE OF RISK

You acknowledge that the nature of Wild Mob project is adventurous and participation involves a degree of personal risk.

  1. PHOTOS & MARKETING

You consent to Wild Mob using images of you taken while on your project for promotion and marketing purposes. You grant us license to use such images for publicity and promotional purposes.

  1. PRIVACY POLICY

Any personal information that Wild Mob collects about you may be used for any purpose associated with your project. The information may be disclosed to our project leaders and service providers to operate your project. You information will otherwise be kept private.

  1. UPDATING OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Wild Mob reserves the right to update and/or alter these terms and conditions at any time, and it is the participant’s responsibility to be familiar with them. The latest terms and conditions can always be found on the Wild Mob website and will supersede any previous versions.
